My Background
I am (along with my wife, Pam) very proud to be the Master Franchisees of Mars Venus Coaching of Colorado and certified Mars Venus success coaches. We have been married for 20 years, and now work together to help businesses and executives make more money in less time.
I am a highly experienced executive and consultant with more than 25 years of hands-on marketing, advertising, PR and management experience. After completing my undergraduate degree at Duke University (I’m a big college basketball fan), I went immediately onto Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business where I received my Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
I cut my teeth in marketing and management at one of the largest advertising agencies, and one of the best training organizations, in the world (Ogilvy), where I worked on such high visibility national accounts as Hershey’s, Hallmark, Hardee’s and Duracell. From there I went back and forth between senior-level (EVP), advertising agency positions (leading the strategic positioning and advertising programs for Progressive Insurance, Arby’s, Stroh’s Brewing and others) and senior corporate management positions at American Cyanamid, Black & Decker and Quiznos (CMO) . I have managed $94 million marketing budgets, ran accounts totaling more than $200 million in billings and have led groups of 30 and more.
